HEAVY DUTY COMPRESSION RELEASE
In the past if you wanted to use stronger after market dual
valve springs you could not use the recoil starter or the on
board WF electric starter. The extra valve spring pressure
would break the compression release. Even if you are big
enough and strong enough to pull the engine over with
the recoil it would eventually break the rope or other
internal parts of the recoil starter.
The answer has been to buy an expensive hand held
gear reduction electric starter for about $250.00
Faster Motors can now install a stronger compression
release on your WF or after market cam for $39.95.
Your after market cam must have the holes for the
compression release. If not i can supply a new after
market cam with the compression release installed.
